Brian Hampton Goddard

Brian Hampton Goddard, age 52 of Millers Creek passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at his home. 

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, June 10, 2024, at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Millers Creek with Rev. Richard Caudill and Rev. Steve Faw officiating.  

Brian was born December 4, 1971, in Forsyth County to Arthur Shelton and Libby Church Goddard.  Brian enjoyed simple things, like family, fishing, watching sports, racing and cars – especially Ford Mustangs.  In the last few years, he enjoyed being a PawPaw to Lydia and being surrounded by family. 

He was preceded in death by his father; Shelton Goddard. 

He is survived by his mother; Libby Church Goddard of Millers Creek, long-time companion and girl-friend; Marianne Theresa Huffman of Millers Creek, a brother; Derek Goddard and wife Whitney of Obids, NC and a niece; Delia Goddard of Obids, NC. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 974, Millers Creek, NC 28651. 

The family requests no flowers or food.
