Earl Dixon Buffaloe

Mr. Earl Dixon Buffaloe, age 81 of North Wilkesboro passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at SECU Hospice House in Yadkinville.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Wilkesboro Baptist Church.

Earl was born on March 27, 1943, in Wake County to Haywood Valentine and Ola Senter Buffaloe. 

Earl’s life was full of adventure.  From naval submarines to NASCAR pit crews to long-haul trucking, he had an abundance of stories for anyone who would listen.  Earl never met a stranger, never hesitated to lend a helping hand, and was never one to do things the easy way.  His storytelling, kindheartedness, and outgoing nature will be missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Roberts Buffaloe.

He is survived by a son, Gary Buffaloe and wife Lindsey of North Wilkesboro; two grandchildren, Ellie Buffaloe and Jude Buffaloe; and a half sister, Peggy Whitley of Knightdale, NC.
